Inlaid Butt / The MKP Series / Reference MKP11

THE MKP SERIES · INLAID BUTT · REFERENCE MKP11
MKP11 Ebony
Long, sharp silver points running the length of an ebony butt under a textured black wrap.
Quoted, not priced. Wood, inlay work, rings and engraving all change the number, so we quote each cue on its own. Ask and you will get a real figure the same day.
15 oz butt, about 19 oz complete · 10 to 14 days · Free engraving · Ships worldwide
Real inlay, not print
Every piece of shell, stone or contrasting wood is cut and seated by hand into its own pocket.
UV blocking topcoat
Hand rubbed lacquer with a UV blocking topcoat protects the colour and the inlay alike.
Numbered and registered
A serial cut into the joint and written in our book beside your name.
You see it before it ships
We photograph your actual boards before we cut, and the finished cue before it leaves.
Length is the whole idea with this one.
Where MKP01 and MKP03 both work in short repeating shapes, this cue runs a small number of long, narrow points the full visible length of the forearm. Fewer pieces, but each one far more exposed to a slip of the router, since a long thin sliver of inlay material shows any wobble in the line immediately.
The points sit in silver and white against the black ebony, with a tighter cluster of small diamond accents where the pattern meets the ring work near the joint.
This one wears a textured black wrap rather than the smooth leather on our lighter cues, which changes the grip in the hand slightly and is worth asking about if you already know you prefer more texture under your bridge hand.

Ten to fourteen days to build, then ten to fourteen days in transit depending on where you are. We ship worldwide from Hanoi, tracked, with a signature on delivery.
Can I get the smooth leather wrap instead of the textured one shown here?
Yes, wrap material is one of the things we confirm with you before we build. Tell us smooth leather, textured, or Irish linen and we will quote it that way.
If something is wrong when it arrives
Write to support@murakicustomcues.com with a photograph and we will sort it out. A cue that arrives damaged, warped, or not matching what we agreed is our problem, not yours.
Wood is a natural material. Grain and colour will vary from the photographs above, because every board is different.
WHAT CUSTOMERS SAY
Messages we did not expect
These are screenshots, not typed-out quotes. We asked each person before putting their words here. Nothing has been edited except cropping out phone keyboards and one message about pricing that was nobody else’s business.
“The inlay work is insane. Pics don’t even do it justice. Already got a buddy who wants one, I’m sending him your way.”
Jake M.

“You are an artist man. Omg I’m in love with you man.”
Ali A.

“I received it. It’s really good. The packaging is also very good. I tried it too, it’s awesome.”
Yaeyang

We have been selling to players in Vietnam for years. Shipping abroad is the new part, so these are the first customers overseas to write back. More will go up here as they come, good and otherwise, and we will not be quietly deleting the bad ones.

Tell us the weight you play with and how much inlay you want. If you are not sure, say that instead and we will work it out with you.
